MTH PlayersMTH Players History When the Fellowship Hall building was completed in 1997, we had a beautiful stage on which to perform. Right away, the United Methodist Women (UMW) put that stage to work. One of the first events opened to the community was a Fashion show fundraiser! Since most of the fundraisers were helping pay off the new Hall, these same ladies came up with the name MTH for “mortgaged to the hilt”. Thus the MTH Players were born! The UMW came up with the dinner theater fundraising idea and were the sponsors and caterers of the event for many years. The first Dinner Theater production began in 2000 and became an annual event with the exception of 2007. This was due to the renovation of the Sanctuary building. During the renovation time period the Fellowship Hall had to be used for all worship services. Therefore, the stage was unavailable.
